"The new Connexional year is always a time of hope, expectation, and new beginnings. Jenny and Paul‟s Welcome Service at Wells on Saturday 3rd September was such an occasion as Jenny begins her ministry among us as a Probationer Minister."
“Soon we mark the first anniversary of the Central Norfolk Circuit and in Methodism the end of the connexional year, which brings change for the life of the Circuit. In May we said good-bye to Brian and Judith Eagle, with the farewell service at Swaffham, who left us sooner than we would have wished so that Brian could undertake a new appointment in New Zealand in June. We were sorry to see them leave and within only a short time with us they have made tremendous impact upon the live of the circuit. ."
"I am writing this letter in late April, the beginning of the early Holiday season and this year we are already enjoying real holiday weather! You know the old saying: "A change is as good as a rest‟. I hope you will find time for a change or a rest (or both!) during this coming summer season.
The words of Jesus to His disciples recorded in Mark 6:31 are an ideal reminder of this need for a change or a rest."
